ABOUT

Born and raised in New York City, Donovan McClenton developed an early appreciation for fashion as both an art form and a language of identity. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons New School of Design, majoring in Womenswear Fashion Design, before beginning his career through internships at Marc Jacobs, The Row, and V Magazine. Over the past decade, he has worked across the fashion industry, collaborating with and learning from some of the field’s most influential designers, editors, and creative directors. This experience has shaped Donovan’s approach to fashion as something far beyond clothing—it is a tool for storytelling, image-making, and creating a distinct point of view.

After years of working within established creative environments, Donovan has begun directing that experience towards his own independent practice and personal projects. His work is rooted in a deep understanding of fashion, culture, and visual identity, with a focus on creating image and ideas that feel considered, contemporary, and distinctly their own.
